In a recent interview, the singer’s publicist says she would love the chance to answer that casting call. But is she going to hold her breath? No. Risa Shapiro told TV Guide, “Sometimes, where I sit, we say where’s there’s smoke there’s fire. In this case, I don’t think that’s accurate. I hope it is.”

But let’s just imagine that call does happen, what would Cher even say? “I haven’t talked to her about it, but I assume she would absolutely do that,” Shapiro said.

I guess it looks like we’re all just going to have to wait and see.
