Javier Bardem Leaves Wall Street Sequel

Javier BardemJavier Bardem has pulled out of starring in .

The Oscar-winner had been lined up to play a hedge fund manager in the Oliver Stone-directed sequel - provisionally titled Money Never Sleeps - but has dropped out of the project due to other commitments. Although he “loves Oliver Stone,” Bardem’s rep claims the actor has had “five or six other offers.”

, who won an Academy Award for his 1987 turn as Gordon Gekko, remains attached the film. Shia LaBeouf will co-star.

Javier is next scheduled to appear with in Eat, Pray Love - an adaptation of the best-selling memoir.
