They look a lot alike. I just argued with my boyfriend about it (he didn’t think so)... but seeing your pics makes it much more obvious (even for hard-headed boyfriends).

I nearly lost a bet with my kids that Isla was the star in “Enchanted”. I just didn’t get it. But I think it was bec I never heard of Amy Adams before that I got confused.  Looking at their pictures It’s hard to tell them apart!

Yes…. they both look so much alike. Until a few days back I was under the impression that Amy Adams had starred in Wedding Crashers. You should compare Amy Adams look from Enchanted where she’s in a dress to Isla Fisher’s in Wedding Crashers. It’s quite hard to tell them apart!

So glad to know I’m not the only one thinking they look soooo much alike!  Up until Definitely,Maybe came out I totally thought they were on in the same person!  Only cause I saw Isla Fisher interviews and heard her British accent did I look into who she was.  I had only thought Amy Adams was the actress in all the movies i had seen they were both in.  Trippy!

I still they are the same person, just like Stephen King and Richard Bachman are the same person. Haha. I am most likely wrong, but I cannot tell them apart and so therefore am forced to simply conclude that they are one in the same for sanity reasons.

Ok, I figured it out after looking at many photos. Now the photos above don’t show this so much (maybe that was done on purpose, but I figured it out. Isla Fisher has fuller lips and a rounder nose. Amy adams has sharper lips and a narrower (pointier—though not pointy) nose. Also, Isla tend to smile really big and Amy sort of has a puckered smile.

I’m really impressed. I just realised they are not the same actress. I saw her (I mean, Isla Fisher) for the first time in Wedding Crashers, and then I thought, what a change, when she appeared in Enchanted (wasn’t her).
So yes, they are enormously alike!!! Are they related in any way?????

Ok… Somewhere in the back of my mind I believe they are twins that were secretly seperated at birth and just happened to follow their special acting gene.  That’s the only thing that makes sense in my mind.  It is just absolutely amazing how much they look alike.  And I’m sure they are up for the same roles quite a bit.  Do they secretly despise each other because of this phenomenon?

I saw a film know, called Definitely, Maybe, at the end i looked it up on imdb and looked for the name of amy adams on a picture of the premier, but there just wasn’t her name, just this isla fisher…

The wierd thing is that Amy Adams was in Talladega nights, which is a film Borat was in….I always thought that was where Isla Fisher and him met…..I wonder if that was when he fell in love with her, only to realize later when he met Isla that it was a different girl….but even better since Isla is European?  ha ha.

My BF and me have been saying this for months.  Isla Fischer, Amy Adams and Jenna Fisher could play as sisters.  He was convinced that they were all the same person.  In the Office, we used to think it was Pam playing the hot girl.

Amy Adams was just on The View and I thought it was Isla….they kept calling her Amy and i thought they were just making a mistake until they finally put her name up on the screen and Amy Adams…..i was like, Whaaat? lol! on screen they basically look identical!

I just read in ‘National Enquirer’ that Amy Adams ‘is keeping her fiance Daren Le Gallo in suspense’. Her fiance? isnt she married to Sasha Baron Cohen. I always thought it was the girl who played in Wedding crashers, Wedding daze, Night at the museum, Enchanted, Shopaholic, Sunshine Cleaning, now there is Julie and Julia coming up! I thought ’ this girl is in so many movies lately! Good on her! But Isla Fisher! I had to put pictures next to each other to see the difference! They could be twins! Its hard to tell who is who! Glad I am not the only one!
