DreamWorks has finally unveiled the trailer to Peter Jackson‘s The Lovely Bones, set to release this December.

Based on Alice Sebold’s best-selling novel, the film chronicles little Susie Salmon’s (Saoirse Ronan) murder and the aftermath surrounding those whom she loved. Told from Susie’s own version of heaven, she is faced with the dilemma of longing for justice or allowing herself and her loved ones to move on. Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, and Susan Sarandon also star.
