New Moon Vamp Wants Tim Burton to Direct Breaking Dawn

Can a director for the fourth installment of the Twilight franchise, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, possibly get any darker than the director for the third film, David Slade? New Moon actor Jamie Campbell Bower thinks so!

The actor, who plays the vampire Caius in the second film, touts The Nightmare Before Christmas director Tim Burton: “I think he’d just change it up. I think he’d screw around with it quite a lot, and aesthetically, I think it’d be incredibly different. I don’t know if the fans would like it, but I’d sure like it.”

Wait a sec—haven’t I seen him before?

Oh, yeah—he was that kid in Sweeney Todd! No wonder he loves Burton so much—he gave him a career.

While jumping from Catherine Hardwicke to Chris Weitz and then David Slade seems erratic in terms of style, I don’t see Burton mixing well with this series; however, Burton himself has quite the eclectic taste in stories.

Either way, I have a feeling that the Twi-hards out there won’t mind if he directs, so long as he still positions the lights on Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner well enough to accent their shirtless chests.

Comments:

Thow Tim Burton is one of my favorite directers. i do not think he would be good with this film. Tim Burton is a weird director in a good way, he has his own style and twilight just doesnt seem to fit into his catagory.

Dear God NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not dissing Tim Burton, he is great at what he does.  But what he does isn’t what Breaking Dawn needs.

Chris Weitz, anyone?
