The first official synopsis has been released for forthcoming James Bond movie Skyfall.
The eagerly anticipated movie - which will see Daniel Craig return in the role as the British spy - will place the relationship between the leading man and character M, played by Dame Judi Dench, under pressure.
"Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond's loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost."
The movie - which stars newcomers to the series Ben Whishaw and Javier Bardem - is currently shooting in London and is due to be released in November 2012.

Javier Bardem Leaves Wall Street Sequel
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: 20th Century Fox, Drama, Sequels, Casting, Celeb News, Upcoming Releases
Javier Bardem has pulled out of starring in Wall Street 2.
The Oscar-winner had been lined up to play a hedge fund manager in the Oliver Stone-directed sequel - provisionally titled Money Never Sleeps - but has dropped out of the project due to other commitments. Although he “loves Oliver Stone,” Bardem’s rep claims the actor has had “five or six other offers.”
Michael Douglas, who won an Academy Award for his 1987 turn as Gordon Gekko, remains attached the film. Shia LaBeouf will co-star.
Javier is next scheduled to appear with Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray Love - an adaptation of the best-selling memoir.
Javier Bardem Won’t Present Oscar to Penelope Cruz
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Awards, Celebrity Gossip

Thanks to a scheduling conflict, one of Sunday’s most highly-anticipated moments will not happen as predicted.
Should Penelope Cruz win the award for Best Supporting Actress (that’s the way things seem to be trending right now), the statue will not handed to her by Javier Bardem. Although that job usually goes to the previous year’s Best Supporting Actor winner, Cruz’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona costar - and real-life boyfriend - won’t actually be in attendance.
According to E! Online, the No Country for Old Men actor will not be able to break away from a shoot in Barcelona. He is currently there filming Biutiful with director Alejandro González Iñárritu.
But it turns out Bardem’s presence would have been a moot point anyway. The producers are supposedly breaking with tradition and mixing up their lineup of presenters.
