Sandra Bullock Didn’t Think That She Deserved the Oscar

Sandra Bullock at the 2010 OscarsSandra Bullock didn't "feel worthy" of her Oscar.

The 49-year-old actress took home the Best Actress Academy Award in 2010 for her performance in The Blind Side, but when she admits, at the time, she didn't think her acting abilities deserved to be recognised over anyone else's.

Speaking at the premiere of her new movie Gravity at the Toronto International Film Festival, she said, "I didn't feel worthy of it when I got it, so I feel like, 'OK, I'm going to spend the rest of my life hopefully earning it, but having a really good time in the process as well.' ... I still haven't gotten around to having my moment with it yet. Maybe one day it will come. What it does do is make you realize how hard you have to work to earn it."

Remembering the night she won her Oscar, Sandra admits her mind was preoccupied with her son Louis, who she had just adopted as a baby and who was at home while she attended the glitzy ceremony in Los Angeles. The screen star - whose marriage ended in March 2010 when it was revealed her then-husband Jesse James had been cheating on her with several women - says having Louis stopped her from getting too carried away with her award win.

Sandra Bullock’s Stunt Worries

Sandra BullockSandra Bullock says becoming a mother has made her think twice about doing her own film stunts.

The Heat actress loves getting physical in her films, but isn't as tempted to put herself at risk since adopting her three-year-old son Louis. "I insist on doing my stunts all the time. But one thing that makes you reconsider doing your shot is having a child. You go, what if I should fall and die on this one? Would that be a smart move?" she said at the London premiere of her new film.

The 48-year-old star said there are some "dangerous" stunts in her new action-comedy film, in which she co-stars with Melissa McCarthy, but the actresses decided to leave them to the professionals. "We didn't have crazy stuff to do. There were a couple of dangerous things and Melissa and I were like, 'Let the stunt people do it,' because the explosives were falling on them. We went and had coffee while people risked their lives," she quipped.

Eddie MurphyEddie Murphy has been named the most over-paid actor in Hollywood.

According to Forbes magazine, for every $1 Eddie was paid for his last three movies, they returned an estimated average of $2.30.

His movie Tower Heist, which was released last year also failed to wow audiences and earned just over double its budget of $75 million.

Earlier this year, Eddie revealed he is in talks to make a Beverly Hills Cop TV show. One of the comedian and actor's best loved roles was as wise cracking detective Axel Foley in the three action/comedy films of the late 80s and he's working on bringing him back. "What I'm trying to do with Beverly Hills Cop now is produce a TV show starring Axel Foley's son, and Axel is the chief of police now in Detroit. I'd do the pilot, show up here and there," he said.
