Jessica Alba Craving Some Action
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Action, Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip
Jessica Alba wants to make another action movie. The 30-year-old actress - who gave birth to Haven Garner, her second daughter with husband Cash Warren, last weekend - thinks it would be "fun" to appear in something similar to her 2000 TV series Dark Angel, which was canceled after two seasons.
"I'd like to do an action movie next as I haven't really done one since Dark Angel. It'd be fun to get back to doing some of those."
Jessica can next be seen in Spy Kids 4; she is a big fan of the franchise and thinks it will still entertain viewers in years to come: "I'm a fan of the Spy Kids movies. It's not just the grown-ups that get to do all the action to save the world. The kids do too, which is really neat. The first was my favorite and I think it's timeless. The theme of a family working together and enjoying every moment still resonates and will do in another 10 years."

Not only was Jessica Biel a troublesome teenager, but she also happens to love working with weapons.
The Planet 51 actress recently signed up to appear in forthcoming movie remake The A-Team and is enjoying getting to grips with the action scenes.
“It’s going really, really well. I’m getting to work a lot with weapons again, which I haven’t done in a long time. We’ve got a really interesting tone going on. I was a little concerned at first about whether we were going to be really cheesy or super dark but I think we’ve found a lot of humor, at the same time that it’s quite emotional with some dramatic moments.”
The actress also admitted she found working on The Texas Chain-saw Massacre “intense” and admits is caused her to “freak-out.”
“The Texas Chain-saw Massacre was one of the hardest experiences for me, creatively and emotionally. It was intense because I was at this high level of freak out for about a month. It was just so not of this world.”

Robert Downey Jr. says he has a good day when he gets to beat people up.
The actor urged writers and the stunt department of Iron Man 2 to give his character more action scenes because they are his favorite to film.
“The action’s certainly got bigger because I went to do Sherlock Holmes, which was a real adventure. So coming back into this I really challenged our stunt team to get our hands dirty a little more because I was still kind of into that… I love it so much. There is no better day that I can have than one where I beat people up or get thrown around. I just love it. It’s supposed to be safe, but it’s a little more than acting so it’s really fun.”

Zac Efron Thinks Action Role Could be Kiss of Death

Have no fear, Shia—Zac Efron thinks it would be “weird” if he starred in an action movie (despite already having the body for it).
The High School Musical star, who became a teenage heartthrob after appearing in the Disney movie franchise, would love to try his hand at as a screen hero but fears his career could be over if the role wasn’t perfect.
“I would love to try an action film at some point, but not too soon. I think that can be a kiss of death. There’s got to be a real role that I can bring something unique and specific to, a way for me to do it believably. Until then, I think it would just come across as weird.”
The 22-year-old star also revealed he is in awe of actor Leonardo DiCaprio, despite disliking him when he was growing up: “I think Leonardo DiCaprio’s done a great job. I was dead set against the guy when I was growing up, kind of force-fed his image from Titanic. Since then, through very hard work and incredible performances, he’s done a complete 180. Now he’s one of my favorite actors. He’s at the top of his game.”
