Charity Auctions Angelina Jolie’s Wanted Jacket

Angelina donates Wanted jacket to charityWanna buy Angelina Jolie’s clothes? Well, if you simply adore her taste in attire or simply want to add something to your shrine, the mother-to-be has donated outerwear to charity.

The jacket, a black leather piece with a diagonal zipper, comes from the sexy star’s latest graphic novel adaptation, Wanted. If you plan on actually wearing it, heads up: it’s an extra-small! No real surprise there, though.

‘Atonement’ Dress Up for Auction

AtonementUPDATE:  The auction ended March 1.  The winning bid was $46,000.

Attention all Double-0’s: the exquisite green dress seen in the romantic weeper, , is now up for grabs.  Clothes Off Our Backs, an organization that sells celebrity frocks for children’s charities, has started an auction for the memorable garment.  Bids can be placed anytime through March 1.

Oh - I should probably mention that the item is considered a Size 2 (or so the site says), not a Double-0.  Apparently stick-thin has more meat on her bones than I thought?

Now if that dress came with a , I might not care that it wouldn’t fit me.

J.K. Rowling Writes Harry Potter Spinoff

J.K. RowlingDespite several press conferences and comments that she would like to branch out into writing new things, has completed the first spinoff. So much for the integrity of writing.

The book – an illustrated collection of fairy stories – is The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and only seven copies will be printed. One will be auctioned for charity, the others given away as gifts. Rowling drew the illustrations in the book herself and provided the handwriting for five of its stories. The book is mentioned in Rowling’s last Harry novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
