VIDEO: Brittany Murphy in Her Final Film Role
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Thrillers, Celeb News, Obituaries, Upcoming Releases, Videos,
Now that you’ve heard Brittany Murphy’s vocal work on DJ Paul Oakenfold’s 2006 dance track, get a glimpse of the final role she filmed before her December 20 death.
Abandoned, which was shot over the summer, features Murphy in a Flight plan-esque storyline. Brittany plays a woman searching for her husband (Dean Cain) who went missing after entering the hospital. The workers, of course, have no record of him ever being there and they eventually deem Murphy to be crazy.
The movie, also starring Peter Bogdanovich and Mimi Rogers, should be released sometime in 2010.

“She had the voice of an angel and a genuine heart of gold,” Donald Faison, another star from Murphy’s 1995 film, told MTV News. “She had the voice of an angel and a genuine heart of gold.
