Tom Hiddleston felt like he was having a "group hug" on the set of The Avengers.
The British actor portrays his Thor' character Loki in the forthcoming Marvel comic book movie, and while the film's big cast - including Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth - was slightly intimidating at first, he admits the group got along famously quickly.
"For the first 10 minutes after you meet them, they have the wattage and charisma of movie stars. Then you have a coffee with them and you realize we're all the same, we're all just people. All of the actors in The Avengers are so nice. Marvel has these code names for projects and the code name for The Avengers was Group Hug. It felt very much like a group hug on set."
Tom - who is the villain of the film - admits his favorite part of the movie was getting to do his own stunts: "My favorite moment on set was filming at a NASA location the size of a cathedral. I flew around like a trapeze artist in a rocket-testing facility in the company of Samuel L. Jackson and Jeremy Renner. That was a pretty good day at work."

Kim Kardashian's inclusion in new movie The Marriage Counselor has been slammed by film fans.
The reality TV star - who recently filed for divorce from husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage - starts filming her role in Tyler Perry's new movie today, but it has proved to be unpopular decision, with his fans taking to his website to air their displeasure.
"I am a huge fan and I've seen everything Tyler Perry. Have to say I don't understand the reason for casting KK in your upcoming film. Personally, I am sick to death of her being glorified for nothing more than having sex on camera. She doesn't need the money and she certainly doesn't need any more attention. And, although I still support you, I won't be contributing one dime to anything with K. Kardashian in it.(sic)," one fan wrote.

Hilary Duff has been dropped from a remake of Bonnie and Clyde. The 23-year-old actress had been due to play Bonnie Parker in indie movie The Story of Bonnie and Clyde alongside Kevin Zegers as Clyde, but the pair have now both been removed due to neither being available until next year.
"While production has been pushed several times due to financial, scheduling and other factors such as tornados devastating some of our locations, we are currently gearing up to star production later this year. Unfortunately we are now faced with scheduling conflicts with our leads Hilary Duff and Kevin Zegers. We were told that Duff would not be available until June 2012 and that Zegers would not be available until January of the new year. Due to our obligations with investors and international buyers it is imperative that we stick to our current schedule. Therefore we are forced to explore other options for the two lead roles. Unfortunately this happens all the time in the world of filmmaking," producers Tonya Holly and Tom Rogers confirmed in a statement.
It is not known who is in line to take over the leading roles.

Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is to star in Shadow Runner, an action thriller acquired by Columbia Pictures attached with producers Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson.
Details on the plot are being kept under wraps, but it is believed Hemsworth's character will lead an elite team of operatives who take on impossible tasks.
"We think the story is a terrific action thriller for Chris Hemsworth and we know this project is in great hands with Tripp, Beau and Will as they develop the film," said Columbia Pictures production president Hannah Minghella.
Drive writer Hossein Amini - who will executive produce - came up with the initial idea for the movie, with the inspiration being an incident when an Israeli assassination team targeted someone they believed murdered soldiers and stockpiled missiles, eventually tracking him to Dubai, where a 17-man team killed him in the corridor of a luxury hotel. However, Deadline.com reports the film will not directly replicate those events.
Chris can next be seen opposite Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron in Snow White and the Huntsman.
