Daniel Craig wants to play James Bond for as long as he can.
The actor will be reprising his role as the British spy for the third time in new movie Skyfall and says he has no intention of quitting until he is told to. "I will keep going until they tell me to stop," he said.
However, Daniel - who took over from Pierce Brosnan as the suave spy in 2005's Casino Royale - knows there will be a time when he has to give it up: "I know there'll be someone after me, and hopefully someone after them - I'm just trying to keep [the series] going."
Daniel, 44, says despite there being a four-year gap between Skyfall and the last Bond film Quantum of Solace, work had still been going on behind the scenes. "We haven't been resting on our laurels, we've been plotting what to do with this film. The first one was a whirr - it was a new experience and flew by - the second one was the tricky second album, but this one we've really planned and got a great script. It's going to be different from the last one, but it will still be a great Bond movie."

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Biopics, Casting, Celeb News

Rihanna would give "her entire life" to play Whitney Houston in a biopic. The "You Da One" hitmaker - who makes her feature film debut this summer in Battleship - admits she would love to play the late singer in a possible movie, because she was inspired by her as a youngster.
"My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song, "I Will Always Love You." It was really inspiring, and it made me develop a passion for music, so really she's partly responsible for me being here in this industry. That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do, because I would really want to pull it off. That's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job," she said.

Woody Allen wants Cate Blanchett and Bradley Cooper for his latest movie.
The legendary director - who is notoriously reluctant to release details of his films ahead of production - is said to be eyeing Danish capital Copenhagen as the setting for his new movie which will feature Cate as the star and Bradley as part of an ensemble cast.
Although he has focused on his directing work in recent years - winning the Best Original Screenplay Oscar this year for his work on Midnight in Paris - it was recently revealed Woody will play an aging escort in Fading Gigolo, an indie comedy written and directed by John Turturro. John will also star as a gigolo in the movie, which tells the story of two "cash-strapped best friends" who go into the escort business and find their local Hasidic Jewish community suspecting them of unusual goings-on, Variety reports.
Sofia Vergara and Sharon Stone are set to play two of the women who pick up the ageing men. It will be the first time Woody has acted in a film since Picking Up The Pieces 12 years ago.

Liam Neeson's rumored role in The Dark Knight Rises has been confirmed.
The 59-year-old actor will reprise his part of Ra's al Ghul for the forthcoming movie, despite his character being killed off in 2005's Batman Begins, with the news revealed in Warner Bros' production notes for his latest film Wrath of the Titans.
"Neeson next appears in Peter Berg's action flick Battleship, and he also will be seen in Christopher Nolan's much-anticipated action thriller The Dark Knight Rises," the note read.
The confirmation comes amid speculation Liam would star as Ra's al Ghul in flashback scenes after he was previously spotted on set dressed as the character. However, Liam insists he is only going to have a "cameo" appearance in the motion picture. When asked if he is appearing in The Dark Knight Rises, he told CNN, "I think so. I have no idea what the story is about. Nothing. Nothing. Seriously, I'm not sure if I'm still in it. It's a cameo - let's put it that way - if it still survives."

Jim Sturgess wants to appear in Maleficent. The One Day actor is reportedly keen to take on the role of Diaval - a love interest for the titular villainous fairy, who will be played by Angelina Jolie - in Disney's forthcoming live action reimagining of the Sleeping Beauty tale.
"Diaval is an Irish man with black hair, dark eyes and a slight Irish accent. When he's first seen in the movie, he's not a human, but a bird. Angie's character, Maleficent, turns him into a man. Then they become lovers," an insider told Life&Style.
However, Jim faces competition for the role from another star. "Gael Garcia Bernal has shown interest, too," the source added. Jude Law is also being lined up for a role in the film. Bosses are said to be keen for the British actor to play half-human half-fairy Stefan, the father of Aurora, who is also known as Sleeping Beauty. "The role has been offered to Jude," a source said.
Elle Fanning has previously been linked to the role of Aurora, while Patrick Stewart is rumored to have been approached to play King Henry and both Judi Dench and Emma Thompson for Flittle. Shooting is slated to start in June.
Michael Fassbender’s Physical Robot

Michael Fassbender found it difficult to play a computer with emotions in Prometheus.
The X-Men: First Class actor portrays a leading role in the Ridley Scott-directed movie - alongside Charlize Theron and Noomi Rapace - and admits it is hard to play an "advanced" version of a human in the movie.
"He's hyper-intelligent. His physicality is more advanced than human beings. So, people don't really embrace him. He's sort of used and abused. How does that make him feel, if robots can feel? You're essentially trying to build a computer that has a physicality to it, that can respond and understand human behavior. It's programmed to be able to incorporate itself within a human environment. I just try and explore what's happening within the scene, moment to moment," he said.

Jennifer Lawrence ‘Carries’ Hunger Games Movie

Jennifer Lawrence singlehandedly "carries" the Hunger Games movie, according to producers.
The Winter's Bone actress stars as protagonist Katniss Everdeen in the movie which tells the story of teenagers in the future forced to compete to the death live on TV for entertainment, and producers Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik say the movie is anchored by Jennifer's strong performance.
"To have [Katniss] be strong, and smart and independent. That's what we had to get right. [Jennifer Lawrence] just brought all that with her amazing talent and incredible work ethic. She just brought the best and carried us all on her back," Jon explained to The Hollywood Reporter.
The pair also have high praise for director Gary Ross, explaining they needed to find a filmmaker who shared author Suzanne Collins' "honest" voice. "I felt that we needed to find a voice for the movie that was as honest as the voice in the book. You want to find that ethical voice that Suzanne Collins found. And that's very hard I think to pull off, but I think Gary really found a way to hit that right in the sweet spot. Katniss is a very three-dimensional character. You feel like you know her. And not every filmmaker could capture that voice and make sure that the storytelling came from character," Nina said.
