Anne Hathaway: Best Actress for Hollywood’s Dollar
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip
It looks like Saturday Night Live was smart to book Anne Hathaway for her second visit. According to Forbes, the actress is worth her money and more.
Anne, who has starred in large grossers including Alice in Wonderland and Get Smart, is estimated to bring in $64 in profit for every buck spent on her. That’s the highest amount for any female based on the magazine’s set of factors.
Hathaway’s relatively small paycheck helped her score this achievement.
Curious Case of Benjamin Button star Cate Blanchett came in a distant second. The Oscar winner only returns $27 per dollar.
Tying for third are Jennifer Aniston and Meryl Streep. The romantic comedy staple and the Academy Awards fixture both pull in about $21 for each dollar.
Sex and the City’s Sarah Jessica Parker is the next ranked star with $17 per dollar.

Emma Watson: The Highest Paid Actress of the Decade
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip
Emma Watson is the highest paid actress of the past decade.
The Harry Potter actress - who plays Hermione Granger in the wizard film series, which started in 2001 - has been awarded the title by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The 19-year-old’s starring role in the six films, as well as her voice part in animated movie The Tale Of Despereaux, helped take $5.4 billion worldwide, putting the earnings ahead of some of Hollywood’s big players including Julia Roberts, Halle Berry and Cameron Diaz.
Watson also boasts the highest average box office receipts per movie, with each of her films making an average of $897,100,000.
Emma attended the open auditions for the first Harry Potter when she was just nine and had no idea what she was letting herself in for. “I had no idea of the scale of the film series. If I had I would have been completely overwhelmed,” she said.
Will Ferrell: Hollywood’s Most Overpaid Star
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip, Lists

Will Ferrell has topped a list of the Most Overpaid Stars. The actor and comedian topped the annual list by Forbes magazine, which calculated how much moviemakers earn per dollar paid to their lead actor.
After the last couple of funnyman Will’s films - Semi-Pro and Land of the Lost - bombed at the box office, his rate of return has dropped to $3.29 for every dollar of Will’s fee. This contrasts greatly with the other end of the scale, which saw Shia LaBeouf named as the Best Actor for the Buck in August, earning studios an average of $160 for every dollar he was paid.
Behind Will on list was actor Ewan McGregor, while Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson all made the Top Ten. Only one female (Drew Barrymore) had the unfortunate luck of being included.
