The hit singer is seen here on the set of , a big screen adaptation of the popular Hasbro game. The film, which is currently filming in Hawaii, will center on naval officers fighting against an alien invader known as The Regents.

Universal’s actioner, directed by Peter Berg, will also feature Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights), (True Blood) and model Brooklyn Decker. It will set sail on May 18, 2012.

No, is not playing The Cure’s Robert Smith in a movie. And no, this is not a comedy a la Fast Times of Ridgemont High.

The two-time Oscar winner is seen here with caked-on makeup and teased-up hair for This Must Be the Place, a drama about an “aging rock star” (Penn) seeking to find the Nazi who “tormented his father in a concentration camp.”

The production – also starring Frances McDormand and Eve Hewson - will shoot in both Ireland and the United States.

and Jayma Mays will play human characters in the 3D-film while Katy Perry (Smurfette), George Lopez (Grouchy Smurf), Alan Cumming (Gutsy Smurf), Fred Armisen (Brainy Smurf) and Jonathan Winters (Papa Smurf) will handle just a small portion of the Smurf voicing duties.

The Sony production will open on August 3, 2011.

co-star Robert Pattinson is starring in another star-crossed love story called Remember Me, Kristen Stewart is stripping down opposite James Gandolfini in Welcome to the Rileys.

While the paparazzi managed to snap up some pictures of her on set a few months ago, images of a considerably less-clothed KStew have been released (more after the jump). Stewart plays the role of Mallory, a 16 year-old stripper who gets caught in the middle of one man’s (Gandolfini) personal journey to recovering from the death of his daughter.

The independent drama is scheduled to debut at the Sundance Film Festival this January. No word yet as to a theatrical release date.

For the martial arts reboot, (The Pursuit of Happyness) worked out daily to play Dre Parker, an American boy who moves to China. “I trained every day for four months with Master Wu [the film’s fight coordinator],” the 11-year-old told People.

Fortunately, Jaden had the real-life mentoring of (Mr. Han) to get him through the overseas shoots. “Jackie taught me to ask, ‘My left or camera left?’” Smith recalled about filming.

If you laughed when you initially heard about a big screen adaptation of the show, you weren’t the only one. - who looks an awful lot like George Peppard did - also thought it was a joke.

“When my agent said, A-Team, I said, ‘oh, please,’” the Oscar nominee told EW. So what finally got him on board? The script. “Some of these films can be so empty and bland, but this was riveting. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into it and it had a wonderful camaraderie between the guys,” the new Col. John “Hannibal” Smith stated.

The A-Team - also starring Bradley Cooper (Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck), Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus) and Sharlto Copley (Capt. “Howling Mad” Murdock) - opens June 11, 2010.
