Watch the video above to the see the opening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, which won’t be in theaters until July 15. The clip shows a discussion between title character Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Ollivander the wand maker (John Hurt). Hermoine and Ron (Emma Watson, Rupert Grint) can be seen in the background.

First Look: Harry Potter Poster Revealed

We just got our first look at the movie poster for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 -- and, it’s totally awesome. The poster delivers a clear message to moviegoers: the eighth, and final, film installment will feature an epic battle between The Boy Who Lived and He Who Shall Not Be Named.

Frightened yet?

In the poster, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) is smeared with blood, and Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) looks just plain mean. The film comes to theaters on July 15, so keep your wands at the ready.

Getting Into Character: Cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Now that we’re only two months away until Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opens, it’s time to start looking ahead. 

In just 18 months from now, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will unfold. The picture above with Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Helena Bonham Carter was taken earlier this week on the film’s set in South Pembrokeshire, West Wales. (There are several other glimpses that can be viewed after the jump.)

Half-Blood Prince‘s July 15 debut will be followed by Deathly Hallows: Part 1 on November 2010 and Deathly Hallows: Part II on July 2011.
