Bill and Ted Reunion? Excellent!
Remember Alex Winter, the guy who played Bill S. Preston? Former co-star Keanu Reeves (Ted Theodore Logan) does, and that’s good news for a lot of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure fans.
The two were seen on Friday night palling around in Hollywood, and we’re hoping it means a long-awaited sequel is in the works.
The two actors began their Excellent Adventure in 1989. The film instantly gained a cult following and blossomed into a franchise, spawning three TV series, one feature-length sequel and even a stage musical. After the actors followed up with a Bogus Journey in 1991, Keanu Reeves went on to become a major Hollywood player. Alex Winter became “that guy in the Bill & Ted movies ... the one who’s not Keanu Reeves.”
And he may get the chance to be that guy again. Rumor has it that the original scriptwriters are indeed working on a new chapter in the tale, and apparently Keanu and Alex are getting chummy again. TMZ managed to get some video of the big event if you’d like to take a look.
As you might expect, the two actors still look excellent together.

Robin Wright Gets It Done in One Take
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Adaptation, Drama, Romance, Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip, Filmmaking, New Releases
Robin Wright was relieved when it only took one take to film her sex scenes with Keanu Reeves.
The actress, who recently ended her marriage to Sean Penn, found it hard to shoot parts of her new movie, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, especially when her character had to make love to Keanu’s in the back of a truck.
“Any kind of vulnerability is always hard to do. Just being exposed in that way is difficult. People say it’s hard to do those scenes revealing the blood and soul of your heart, crying. That’s easy-peasy for me. Intimacy is far more challenging. Thank God we did it in one take.”
Robin also revealed she wants fans to start remembering her for her new movies rather than 1994’s Forrest Gump and 1987’s The Princess Bride: “I love those movies, and they’re going to go down in history. They’re iconic. And I love that I’m a part of film history. But, it’s so then, and we’re now. It’s 20, 22 years ago. I’m interested in doing other things.”

Keanu Reeves Scheduling Paternity Test
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip
UPDATE: Keanu has officially been cleared by a DNA test.
Keanu Reeves is taking a DNA test to prove he’s not the father of a Canadian woman’s children.
The Matrix actor denies ever meeting Karen Sala, 46, who has filed a claim in an Ontario court claiming he is the father of at least one of her four adult kids.
Reeves’ lawyer Lorne Wolfson has advised the 45-year-old star to take a paternity test to “clear his name” and prove he is not the biological father of any of Sala’s children - who are all in their mid-20s. The actor will take the test in the next four weeks.
Sala is asking for $150,000 per month in child support - retroactive from June 1988 - and $3 million a month in spousal support, retroactive from November 2006. Outside the court room, she said: “This is not about revenge or an attack on his good character. It’s about closure and getting some peace. This is a personal journey.”
Sala is due back in court on October 16.

Box Office Breakdown: Marley & Me Ends 2008 on Top
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: 20th Century Fox, Disney, Fox Searchlight, MGM, Miramax, Paramount, Sony, Universal, Warner Bros, Action, Adaptation, Adventure, Drama, Family, Foreign, Foreign Language, Period, Religious, Romance, Science Fiction, Comedy, Thrillers, Box Office, Lists

Aside from a few changes at the bottom of this week’s Top Ten, every single movie remained planted in their positions from last Monday. Since Friday’s new entries (Good, Defiance) were only offered in limited release, there really wasn’t much of a battle.
Over the last three days, Marley & Me tacked on another $24 million and officially crossed the $100 million mark. The Fox adaptation became the 25th film from 2008 to accomplish that. Meanwhile, the only new charter was #10’s Slumdog Millionaire. Although it was only shown in 612 theaters (that’s down two from last week), the Fox Searchlight feature helped push The Spirit down to #13. The probable Oscar contender also earned a better per screen average than all the films ahead of it.

Box Office Breakdown: Marley & Me is the Weekend’s Top Dog
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: 20th Century Fox, Disney, MGM, Miramax, Lionsgate, Paramount, Sony, Universal, Warner Bros, Adaptation, Adventure, Animation, Drama, Family, Period, Political, Religious, Comedy, Thrillers, Box Office, Lists

When it comes to the box office, Jennifer Aniston has no problem pushing best friends (Courteney Cox), exes (Brad Pitt) or former leading men (Jim Carrey) aside.
After a record-breaking Christmas Day, Marley & Me pulled in approximately $36.4 million over the last three days. The PG-rated film, which earned nearly $51 million since December 25, gave Aniston bragging rights and Owen Wilson his best Friday-Sunday gross ever.
Although he eventually lost out to Jen, Brad Pitt really had nothing to complain about. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the weekend’s #3 finisher, had the 2nd best ($12 million) Christmas day opening. Meanwhile, Bedtime Stories - starring Adam Sandler and Courteney Cox - now ranks 3rd ($10.6 million) on the all-time Dec. 25 debuts list.
