Amanda Seyfried feared her latest acting role would ruin her Hollywood career.
The 27-year-old actress appears naked in her new movie, Lovelace, in which she plays a 1970's porn star, and despite calling the experience "liberating," the blonde star believes taking on the role was a huge risk. "This is the riskiest thing that's happening in Hollywood right now. The first thing you think about is that it could ruin my career," she said.
The L' actress previously claimed that despite her initial hesitations to appear naked on the big screen, it was much easier than she thought it would be:
"It's funny, because I felt liberated when I was doing it. I'm sure people that are very protective of me wouldn't feel very comfortable with that, but it's like, what's the big deal? Growing up I was made to feel nudity was wrong because everything was always censored in movies, and it was just like, why are we covering ourselves up? It didn't seem as scary as I thought it was [going to be]. It was astonishing how quickly I was able to jump in whole-heartedly."

Amanda Seyfried’s Icy Sex Scene

Amanda Seyfried used a popsicle when pretending to give Peter Sarsgaard oral sex.
The blonde actress had to film the raunchy scenes with the actor in movie Lovelace - a biopic of infamous porn actress Linda Lovelace - and in order to make the sexual acts look convincing, she decided to use the icy treat as a prop.
"We were doing a sex scene where I was supposed to be going down on Peter Sarsgaard. We used a popsicle, and I had my arms covering the popsicle. It was footage that he was going to show the Deep Throat guy, to get her into the movie, to get her cast. I was laughing hysterically throughout. I couldn't stop laughing."
Amanda also says she's become more realistic as her career goes on as she knows Hollywood is a tough place to work in. Speaking about her first big movie, Mean Girls, she told Vanity Fair, "Back then I thought every movie that was made found an audience and things were all stars and butterflies, before I developed a relationship with this world."
Demi Moore Devastated to Lose Lovelace Role

Demi Moore was "devastated" to lose her role in Lovelace.
The Hollywood actress - who has been replaced by Sarah Jessica Parker in the role of feminist Gloria Steinem in the movie about real-life porn actress Linda Lovelace - is said to have cited a "personal crisis" as to why she pulled out of the movie appearance after being hospitalized last week, according to the film's producers.
Heidi Jo Markel - who is producing the motion picture with Jim Young and Laura Rister - told People, "It was a shock and a concern for all of us. We got a call from [Moore's representative] on Tuesday morning and said, 'There's been a personal crisis and we need to let you know that.' And we were clueless. We had no idea what it entailed. We just knew she was out, that there was probably a health concern, and to move on."
Demi was rushed to the Sherman Oaks Hospital last Monday evening where she was treated for exhaustion after suffering a seizure at a birthday party she was hosting at her home. But her director friend Patty Jenkins says the brunette beauty is now recovering: "I just saw her and she's doing great. I think she's doing much better than it's made out to be. Demi is awesome and so strong. I also hate when people make it a bigger drama than what is going on. She's great."

James Franco is in negotiations to play Hugh Hefner in Lovelace.
The 127 Hours actor may portray the Playboy magazine founder in the movie starring Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace - best known for her starring role in porn movie Deep Throat - after passing on the opportunity to play her husband Chuck Traynor.
The role would be a cameo and only require one day of shooting, but talks have not yet been completed to find a date suitable for him, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A heavy-hitting cast including Sharon Stone, Peter Sarsgaard, Chris Noth and Juno Temple are already signed on to star.
Production on the project is already underway, with shooting in Los Angeles beginning last week. Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are directing the picture.
James - who earlier this year put in a turn as presenter when he hosted the Academy Awards with Anne Hathaway - has a number of movies coming up, including Wizard of Oz prequel Oz: The Great and Powerful and Spring Breakers.
