Easy A's Emma Stone has been offered a part in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
The actress - who recently completed filming on forthcoming Marvel comic prequel The Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield - is wanted for the role of Elizabeth Bennett after Oscar-winning star Natalie Portman dropped out. The movie is based on the book of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith and takes the traditional Jane Austen novel and adds the un-dead into the mix of romance and drama.
David O. Russell and Mike White have also both dropped out of directing the film, although Natalie is still attached to produce. Grahame-Smith and Marti Noxon are currently revising the script.
