Engagement Over for Rose McGowan and Robert Rodriguez

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrity Gossip

Rose McGowan has broken off her engagement - again.

The former Charmed star has split from director Robert Rodriguez for the second time since they got engaged in October 2007. Rose and Robert have yet to release a statement explaining the reason for the break-up.

The pair met in 2007 when the 36-year-old actress starred in Rodriguez’s film . After a whirlwind romance, Rodriguez divorced his wife of 16 years and proposed to Rose. The pair split less than one year later, only to reconcile after a few months apart. They were reportedly planning to wed this year.

If the split is permanent, the two are likely to have a difficult few months ahead. Rose is appearing in Rodriguez’s upcoming film Machete, and Red Sonja, which he is producing.

The director is not the first man Rose has had second thoughts about. She also backed out of her two-year engagement to in 2001 due to “lifestyle differences.”

Grindhouses Not Just Theatres With Tarantino

Grindhouse movie poster It’s so hard to find a good Grindhouse these days. Theatres that cater to the darker side of the psyche by showing grisly, gory violence just aren’t easy to come by. In fact, the days of most Grindhouse theatres are days gone by. What’s a movie maker that wants to grind violence into the minds of moviegoers to do in these post-Grindhouse days? To fill this grinding gap in current culture, Quentin Tarantino (with the help of Robert Rodriguez) decided to make his very own Grindhouse double feature. Always striving to take movies to a new level of violent chills and thrills, Tarantino’s signature movie style is most definitely in place for the new double-feature flick. Early reviews are in…will Grindhouse grind out?
