Guy Ritchie Focused on Films

Guy Ritchie wants to focus on his careerNow that he’s single, Guy Ritchie wants to be a “prolific mother-f***er.”

The Sherlock Holmes director, whose almost eight-year marriage to Madonna ended last year, is planning to focus on his career and make a host of new films while he hasn’t got a special woman in his life.

“I’ve been in this game a long time now—middle class and middle-aged. Although I suspect I’m moving into a very different period now, I sense a shift. I’m a victim of circumstance and age. It’s life, isn’t it? Let’s be frank, I’ve got a lot more time on my hands now, and because of that I’ve become a lot more career-motivated. I intend to be a very prolific mother-f***er over the next three years.”

Despite making a name for himself with London heist film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998 and gangster movie Snatch in 2000, Guy claims he has little recollection of the violent films: “I forget I’ve done them. So if ever they’re on, I’m unaware I had anything to do with them. If I were to watch Snatch or Lock Stock… I couldn’t tell you what scene was coming next. It’s embarrassing to say this, but I’d probably really enjoy watching them.”

Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla Trailer Premieres Online

Getting back into his usual field of movies like Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Madonna’s hubby-director Guy Ritchie is now gracing us with another amazing crime comedy-thriller, RocknRolla.

With a trailer like that and a cast that includes the likes of Gerard Butler, Tom Wilkinson, Thandie Newton, and Jeremy Piven, one can only imagine the possibilities!

The film is scheduled to hit theaters this Halloween.
