“This is great.” Those are the only three words spoken in this clip for the upcoming release of Avatar. And based on the scenes in this brief trailer, it probably will be.
James Cameron‘s 3D sci-fi actioner - his first dramatic feature since Titanic - transports us to “Pandora,” where humans are encroaching on land occupied by the Na’vi, a humanoid race. Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation) plays a paralyzed marine who enters the lush rainforest with help from the Avatar program.

Isn’t it just like a guy to show off his abs when a girl’s feeling vulnerable?
In this new teaser trailer for New Moon, Jacob Black (actor Taylor Lautner) finally gets the compliment he worked out so hard for: “You’re sorta beautiful.” (Judging by his reaction, I’m sure he would have preferred “You’re really hot”—but maybe Bella will say that post-haircut.)
The full trailer will hit theaters this Friday before the premiere of Bandslam. The movie will then debut three months later on November 20.

This Christmas, Disney will be mixing a little bit of the old with the new.
Despite turning to Pixar for their most recent animated projects, the studio has elected to use the 2D format for their December entry, The Princess and the Frog. (Their last hand-drawn film was done over four years ago.) Walt Disney Studios will also be incorporating an element not yet seen from them before: a black princess.

Earlier this month, B.J. Novak found it difficult to describe Inglorious Basterds. Let’s see if this teaser trailer can help fill in the blanks.
In the film, Brad Pitt plays Lt. Aldo Raine, the leader of a group of Jewish-American soldiers on a mission to kill Nazis. The movie, which clearly promises to be a bloody one, was directed by none other than Quentin Tarantino.
After previewing the trailer, let us know what you think. Did it do enough to make you overlook Brad’s hideous mustache? Is this the WWII film that will make everyone forget Valkyrie ever existed?
Inglourious Basterds hits theaters on August 21.
