‘Twilight’ Dominates the Razzies

'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 won in seven categories at the 33rd Golden Raspberry Awards in California last night. The vampire series - whose stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Mackenzie Foy won solo prizes - dominated at the annual ceremony, which celebrates the worst movies in Hollywood.

As well as being named Worst Picture and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel, the entire cast picked up a gong for Worst Screen Ensemble. Individually, Kristen Stewart was awarded with Worst Actress (also for her role in Snow White and the Huntsman) while Bill Condon picked up the Worst Director prize.

Meanwhile, Taylor Lautner was recognized individually with Worst Supporting Actor and collectively with Mackenzie Foy as they were named Worst Screen Couple.

Elsewhere, after he swept the boards with every award at last year's ceremony, Adam Sandler won Worst Actor for his role in That's My Boy, which beat The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 for Worst Screenplay.

Box Office Breakdown: Brave Dethrones Madagascar 3

Brave

Although movie-goers have been kind to Madagascar 3 for the past couple weeks, it didn't quite stand a chance against the newcomer Pixar/Disney film Brave, which secured Pixar's 13th first place debut with $66.7 million.

The third Madagascar film secured its second place spot with $20.2 million while the period horror film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter debuted at number three with $16.5 million. Coming in fourth place is Prometheus with $10 million while Rock of Ages rounded out the top five with $8 million.

Box Office Breakdown: Madagascar Stays on Top

Madagascar 3

The animals of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted truly are a determined bunch.

Maintaining its number one position at the box office, the animated family film earned $34 million this past weekend, enough to keep Prometheus at bay with its $20.7 million. Coming in third is Rock of Ages, which made its debut this weekend with $14.4 million. The new Adam Sandler comedy That's My Boy also debuted this past weekend with $13.4 million, securing the fourth position at the box office. Lastly, Snow White and the Huntsman was bumped down two spots to number five with $13.2 million.
