Though last week's number one film, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, had movie-goers paying plenty of money for the laughs, newcomer Ender's Game was more appealing to them in this box office weekend.
The sci-fi film - Starring Harrison Ford - earned $27 million, pushing Bad Grandpa down to second place with its $20 million. Last Vegas and Free Birds also debuted this weekend, landing respectively at number three and four with $16.3 million and $15.8 million. Rounding out the top five was Gravity, which slipped three spots from its position at number two last week due to its $12.8 million take.

Box Office Breakdown: ‘Grandpa’ Kicks Gravity Out of Top Spot

Gravity had a nice three weeks at number one, but the critically-acclaimed space film starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock was apparently no match for the latest Jackass film, Bad Grandpa.
Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa - which sees veteran Jackass-er Johnny Knoxville as the eponymous patriarch - debuted at number one this weekend with $32 million, which effectively left Gravity in the dust with its $20.1 million, which secured it a second place spot. Captain Phillips dropped one spot to number three with $11.6 million while the much-hyped The Counselor debuted at number four with $7.8 million. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 remained at number five with $6.2 million.

Cameron Diaz’s Sex Scenes Were Guarded
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: 20th Century Fox, Thrillers, Celebrity Gossip, Filmmaking, Upcoming Releases,
Cameron Diaz made sure her love scenes for a new movie were well-concealed from the eyes of the public as it was taking place.
The actress shot a sex scene with actor Javier Bardem for The Counselor on the bonnet of a yellow Ferrari at Stoke Park golf course, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. And an ex-SAS squad and dog unit were apparently carefully positioned around the course and in the trees to ensure passers-by or fans could see what was going on. Modesty screens were also put up around the set for the midnight shoot on Tuesday.
"It was like a military operation. Producers had thought of everything to stop any intruders possibly getting a glimpse," a source told The Sun.
Cameron also beds a cheetah in her new film. She plays a character who keeps one of the big cats as a pet and had to tame the beast she was to act alongside "When Cameron first started working with the cheetah it was strutting about like it owned the place. But now she's wearing the trousers. It has taken a shine to her, which is good because they've had to shoot a number of scenes together, including a set-up where they shared a bed," a insider said.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Reuniting for a Movie?

Brad Pitt may reunite with Angelina Jolie for new movie The Counselor.
The Moneyball actor is in negotiations for a part in the Ridley Scott-directed project, which could see him star in a movie with his partner - with whom he raises six children - for the first time since Mr & Mrs Smith, where they first met.
Prometheus actor Michael Fassbender is already on board for the project, which tells the tale of a respected lawyer who "dips a toe" into the drug business. According to Deadline.com, the story is like "No Country for Old Men on steroids." Javier Bardem is also in talks for a part in the movie.
Filming is set to begin in the summer in Europe, and it would be a rare foray into the world of work for both Brad and Angelina, who rarely film movies at the same time.
Commenting on the possibility of them working together again, Brad said last year, "We're not ones to repeat ourselves, but we'd like to, because right now, we're hopscotching with films so one can be with the kids and one is free to work."
