Remake News: The Crow, Logan’s Run and More

The Crow: A remake that was announced back in December 2008 is finally starting to take shape. Shooting on The Crow, a new adaptation of the comic book tale, should begin later this year. In the 1994 film version, actor Brandon Lee - who was tragically killed as the result of an accidental shooting on set - played the deceased man who comes back to avenge his fiancee’s death. Director Stephen Norrington’s script will feature new backdrops and a different form for the title character. “The Crow itself is a creature in this movie — it’s not just a bird,” producer Edward Pressman told MTV. “It’s got a personality and a character. Not like Godzilla exactly, but it’s very different [and has] a more active role in the story.”
