Neve Campbell, Wes Craven Talk Scream 4

Scream 4, according to actress Neve Campbell, will be both “very scary” and “very funny.” Campbell went to to say that writer/director "Wes Craven is brilliant."

Craven himself is expressing excitement about the flick as we draw closer to its April 15 release date. It seems even the day is meant to poke a little scary fun at audiences -- because what’s more terrifying than the day everyone’s income tax returns are due? “The young cast brings a whole different world to [the Scream franchise] and a whole different take on horror,” Craven said.

“It’s a lot about looking back on the last ten years of horror and comparing it and contrasting it and having fun with it,” he said. And nobody has as much fun with horror as Wes Craven.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tides Trailer

So a Johnny Depp/Angelina Jolie pairing didn't exactly equate to a box office hit. But what would you get if you had Depp, a (pregnant) Penelope Cruz, mermaids, zombies and Blackbeard? A future  Disney hit.

Just a few days ago, the studio released the first pictures from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Now, we're getting a chance to see Captain Jack Sparrow in action.

Even if he fails to locate the Fountain of Youth, I doubt Depp will fail to debut in first place again. (At least not while he's wearing eyeliner.)

On Stranger Tides will open on May 20.

Blue Valentine Ditches NC-17 Rating

Although it looked like , starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams, would have to find a home in theaters with an NC-17 rating – the film has now been stamped with the letter "R."

The movie about a couple and their failing relationship was initially given the more adult rating by the MPAA because of what the group deemed “explicit sexual content.” The Weinstein Co. – arguing that this film was no more excessive than other R-rated entries – vowed to appeal the decision.

“If [Piranha 3D] got an NC-17, I’d be the first going, ‘All right, we gotta cut some of that stuff,’” Harvey Weinstein said. “It’s ridiculous -- a penis got coughed up in the movie by a piranha!" (NOTE: That film was rated R.) "They don't give [NC-17's] for violence, they give them for sexuality," Gosling added to E! back in November.

First Look: Transformers 3 Teaser Trailer

I assure you – even though this trailer does not include any glimpses of Shia LaBeouf, a Michael Bay babe (a.k.a. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) or dizzying action, it is indeed for a Transformers film.

So where will Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon take us? Well, as the title suggests, to the actual moon -- with the crew of Apollo 11.

Maybe if President Obama gets a chance to watch the film next year, he’ll reconsider his position on sending more astronauts back there?

Transformers 3 will launch July 1, 2011.
