Sex and the City Sequel Filming in Morocco

While Carrie Bradshaw has been to Paris and the girls have traveled to Mexico, new photos taken of Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon reveal that the Sex and the City sequel calls for a story involving Morocco.

In the photo, Parker wears a classic “J’adore Dior” t-shirt matched with an envious color-block skirt and pink snake skin sandals. Nixon (seen after the jump) looks heavenly in an all-white outfit, comprised of a blazer and floor-length skirt.

Angelina Jolie Project Gets Production Date

Angelina JolieAngelina Jolie turned down several other offers, including the Wanted sequel, to participate in . Now, the flick finally has a production date.

Jolie did attach some strings to her involvement with the film - she wouldn’t do it unless a proper director was involved with the project. Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck has been selected, and everyone seems to be happy. Though negotiations are not quite finalized, the film is expected to enjoy a 2011 release date. Donnersmarck won an Academy Award (Best Foreign-Language Film, 2006) for The Lives of Others.

In the flick, will portray an Interpol agent. Filming is expected to begin in February.

Despite directing and acting in various films served with copious amounts of violence, Eli Roth never quite came close to death on any of those projects until Inglourious Basterds.

During one of the latter scenes of the Quentin Tarantino‘s WWII tour de force, a fire consumes a Parisian theater where the basterds confront Nazi soldiers. It was during this scene that Roth received a taste of the pain his films’ characters experience ten-fold.

As promised, Quentin Tarantino has definitely not stopped working on his epic WWII film, Inglorious Bastards, ever since he completed the script. After years of speculation concerning casting, a few of the roles have recently been confirmed (finally).

What came as quite a shock to most (considering Tarantino’s usual taste in actors), Hollywood heavyweight Brad Pitt was cast as the lead role of Jewish soldier Aldo Raine. Then again, it is only appropriate that Pitt play a part in a real Tarantino film, considering he had a minor role in Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers.

Hilary Duff Back on the Big Screen

Hilary Duff  Gamely trying to keep herself from disappearing off the radar completely, former tween icon is currently shooting a new movie. Greta is currently being filmed on location in New Jersey and features Duff as a waitress who falls for a cook (played by Evan Ross). Their romance is fraught with obstacles put in place by her grandparents (Ellen Burstyn and Michael Murphy play the roles) who have an aversion of the cook’s criminal past. The dramatic tale of interracial love is a far different story from Duff’s previous movie acting credits, which include Cheaper by the Dozen and Agent Cody Banks.
