Bryan Cranston: Godzilla Couldn’t Make Meth

Bryan Cranston thinks that Godzilla would be "horrible" at making crystal meth.
The Breaking Bad actor, who sold the drug as Walter "Heisenberg" White in the series, joked about the monster not being able to make it at the premiere of his new movie at the Odeon in London's Leicester Square last night. "I think Godzilla would be horrible at making crystal meth. You've got to be very refined to be able to make it. He's a monster, you know, they have a very destructive nature," he said.
The 58-year-old actor, who stars alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen in the film directed by Gareth Edwards, also claims his character, nuclear scientist Joe Brody, is more like him than Walter White or Hal, who he played in Malcolm In The Middle: "They're all pretty different. I'm not like hal and I'm nothing like Walter White. Maybe this guy in this movie is most like me."

Director Sam Taylor-Wood has revealed that her husband, Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson-Wood, will be making an apperance in Fifty Shades of Grey.
When asked at a recent Godzilla premiere about whether or not she was able to fit Johnson-Wood into the much-anticipated film - which is currently in post-production - the 47-year-old hesistated a moment before answering, "Actually, I have."
Taylor-Wood (unfortunately!) didn't divulge anything aside from admitting that the 23-year-old - to whom she's been married for 2 years now - will have a role in the film adaptation of the best-selling novel. Fans will have to wait to see just which role she gave him!
The film, which stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, is slated to be released around Valentine's Day next year.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson Plans Career Around Family

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and his wife Sam schedule their careers around their children.
The Kick-Ass 2 star says he and his 46-year-old spouse try to make sure at least one parent is available to look after their four daughters - including Wylda Rae, three, and 18-month-old Romy Hero, as well as two children from Sam's previous marriage - while the other is working.
"We travel as a family. We made a decision a long time ago that's how we're gonna do it. The last thing I wanna do is be separated from my wife and kids. It's important that one of us is with the kids," he said.
Aaron recently filmed a remake of Godzilla while Sam looked after the children, but now she has signed on to direct the eagerly anticipated big screen version of Fifty Shades of Grey, the 23-year-old actor will take a break from acting.

VIDEO: Watch the New ‘Kick-Ass 2’ Trailer

WARNING: The above trailer contains explicit language and graphic violence.
Jim Carrey joins Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz), and their crew of masked vigilantes in Kick-Ass 2, based off of Mark Millar's (Wanted) comic book series of the same name. Despite the three year gap from the release of Kick-Ass, the story picks up right where it left off, turning Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) into a legitimate villain who's so edgy that he has dubbed himself "The Motherf****r." Of course, any film where Moretz is kicking ass is a definite must-see, despite the cheesy, mega-stylized action sequences.
Kick-Ass 2, directed by Jeff Wadlow (Never Back Down), hits theaters August 16.

Keira Knightley Struggled with Dancing

Keira Knightley was upset she couldn't pick up the dance moves in Anna Karenina.
The British actress - who plays the title role in the Joe Wright-directed film - found it frustrating when she couldn't pick up the intricate and elaborate routines in the film, whereas her co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson had no problem at all: "I think I'm quite good at picking things up and I found this impossible and Aaron could just do it in about five seconds. It took a really long time."
However it was not all easy for Aaron, as Joe revealed he was sick during the shooting of the dance scenes. "One day when Aaron was actually ill, and there's a bit in the dance when he has a really red face, he was trying not to be sick," Joe added.
Much of the film takes place in a theatre which constantly changes scenery, despite Joe thinking he was a much more "on location" kind of director. "I always thought I'd be the kind of filmmaker who dealt predominately with real locations, but I find more and more that I like creating spaces in which to play out our dreams. Often there are quite critical limitations put on filming in these locations, so it was interesting," he said.
Kick-Ass Sequel to Film in the Fall
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Lionsgate, Action, Sequels, Comedy, Casting, Scripts, Upcoming Releases,
The Kick-Ass sequel is due to start filing this fall.
Aaron Johnson is to reprise his role as the titular character/Dave Lizewski following on from the original 2010 comedy movie, and he has confirmed Chloe Grace Moretz (Hit-Girl) and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Red Mist) are also in line to return for the motion picture with Jeff Wadlow replacing Matthew Vaughn in the director's seat.
"It's pretty much set to go, this fall. I think now Chloe and Chris are on board. I'm certainly set up to do it. Jeff Wadlow is to direct. Yeah, I think it's going to happen," he said. Matthew's commitment to X-Men: First Class 2 meant he is unable to take on the directing duties of the sequel, but he has approved of Jeff helming the movie.

Quote of the Day: Aaron Johnson on Life as We Know It
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Warner Bros, Romance, Comedy, Celebrity Gossip,
“I’m not plugging Life As We Know It. That’s exactly what I’m not doing. I was looking at the poster and the trailer for it and it’s like ‘C’mon, f**kin’ hell.’ The whole thing is like, “Oh my God, oh my God, this baby is sh*tting everywhere. There’s sh*t on my face! What the f**k is a diaper, what do I sterilize? Uh do I put my dick in the sterilizer?”

New Film Explores Life of Young John Lennon
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Biopics, Drama, Music, Trailers, Upcoming Releases,
John Lennon is known the world over as a prolific songwriter, a slightly mad genius whose musical gifts were, at times, far too heady for the public at large. We also know of his tragic end, which came much too soon.
What many do not know is the story that came before The Beatles and before the fame—the young John Lennon in his pre-musical giant days. Nowhere Boy, an ambitious new film, plans to paint that picture clearly for audiences.
